Installation
Stable release
To install adnipy, run this command in your terminal:
$ pip install adnipy
This is the preferred method to install adnipy, as it will always install the most recent stable release.
If you don’t have pip installed, this Python installation guide can guide you through the process.
From sources
The sources for adnipy can be downloaded from the Github repo.
You can either clone the public repository:
$ git clone git://github.com/mcsitter/adnipy
Or download the tarball:
$ curl -OL https://github.com/mcsitter/adnipy/tarball/master
Once you have a copy of the source, you can install it with:
# For a normal install, use pip
$ pip install .
# For development, the project provides Makefile targets that create
# a virtual environment and install development dependencies. This is
# the recommended workflow for contributors:
$ make init
# Alternatively install in editable mode with development extras:
$ pip install -e .[dev]
